Meet the Founder
Megan Walker, RPN
Megan is a passionate pediatric nurse and the visionary Founder & CEO of WeeCare Pediatric Home Health Care. With a career rooted in pediatrics and community care, Megan’s mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate care to medically complex children in their homes and communities.
Her passion for helping children began at a young age through volunteering and attending events for children with special needs. She also coached children with special needs in Skate Canada’s CanSkate program.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, Megan has extensive experience in pediatric care. She is the first RPN to receive the Nurse Innovator Award and Entrepreneur of the Year Award, recognizing her groundbreaking contributions to pediatric healthcare.
Megan’s leadership extends beyond her professional work. She has donated to children’s hospitals and healthcare organizations across Ontario, providing comfort kits for families with children receiving medical care. Her initiatives include introducing inclusive trick-or-treating through Treat Accessibly and organizing accessible viewing areas at events like the Milton Santa Claus Parade.
Under Megan’s leadership, WeeCare continues to innovate and expand, transforming pediatric home healthcare with compassion, excellence, and a steadfast dedication to improving the lives of children and their families.

Karen brings over 25 years of dedicated experience as a pediatric nurse, spanning a diverse array of settings including acute care, intensive care, and home care.
Throughout her extensive tenure in nursing education and practice, Karen has consistently focused on enhancing healthcare delivery and risk management. Her roles have been multifaceted, encompassing the creation and maintenance of individualized care plans, providing steadfast support to families and guardians regarding care needs and concerns, and conducting rigorous screening of nursing applicants.
